Frequently asked.

Aren't these permits public? Why pay for them?

Yes. Every county portal has them — for free. You can find this data yourself.

What we sell is the 30 minutes a day it takes to log into three portals, run the right searches, and filter the results down to commercial work in your trade. We do that once for everyone subscribed, and email you what's relevant. If your time is worth more than $2 a day, the math works.

Will I be competing with other subscribers for the same leads?

Possibly. We don't promise exclusive leads — that wouldn't be honest. The same permits are visible to anyone willing to do the work, paid subscriber or not.

What you're buying is speed. You see new permits the morning they post, before they show up in commercial-data resellers or competitors' outreach lists. From there, who books the work is up to who calls first and does it best.

What trades are supported?

"All Commercial" sends every commercial permit in your county — including building permits filed before trade contractors are hired. Specific trade filters: plumbing, mechanical / HVAC, electrical, roofing (commercial only — TPO, EPDM, membrane), concrete, glazing, and demolition. Eight options total. If a trade you do isn't here, email [email protected] — we add new trades when the data supports it.

Can I change my filters anytime?

Yes. Your dashboard has an Edit button. Changes take effect with the next 7 AM digest.

What if I want to add a county later?

Email us at [email protected] and we'll move you to Pro. We're keeping plan changes hands-on for now so nothing falls through the cracks — it's quick, and we'll make sure your counties and trades are set up right.

How accurate is the data?

Permit details — address, cost, scope of work, dates — come directly from each county's portal. Trade tags are matched by us based on the permit type and description. Every row links back to the source so you can verify in one click.

How do I cancel?

Dashboard → Manage billing → Cancel. Self-serve. No phone call, no retention pitch.

Is there a contract?

No. Month-to-month. You can cancel during your free trial and won't be charged at all.

Will I get an email every day?

Tuesday through Saturday. County offices file permits on business days, so your digest covers the previous day's new filings. You won't receive emails on Sunday or Monday.

On days with no new permits matching your filters, we skip the email — you're not paying for noise.
